Form follows function. A good hairstyle is more than your best accessory; it is practical and unpretentious. Your style is constantly evolving harmonising with the most current you, not mimicking current trends.
I live my life by two rules – integrity and authenticity. Success is about building a long-term relationship with my clients, not selling something they don’t need.
Why Katherine is your go-to hair designer?
With 18 years of experience and counting, I have a deep understanding of various hair types, be it Asian, Indian, Western, African-American, curly, wavy and mixed-texture. I was trained in Kimarie Hairdressing School and TONI&GUY Academy of Hairdressing (Sydney, Paddington). I also received certifications from L’Oréal Professional and Schwarzkopf Professional. My hairdressing skills were developed in KIMarie Hair Dressing, Estiques Hair & Beauty Bar, Mode hair studio, CINQ Studio and Rossano Ferretti. Now I keep myself at the top of the game by attending seminars like Sydney Hair Expo and participating in hairdressing competitions. To keep up with the current hair trend, I follow the works of international celebrity stylist like Jen Atkin, Tabatha Coffey, Larry King and Anh Co Tran.
I had the opportunities to work with fashion magazines like, Elle (Singapore), Harper’s Bazaar (Singapore), NuYou, Female, HerWorld, Shape, Cleo, Style Wedding, August Man, Esquire (Singapore), FHM and Glam Asia. Also brands like Louis Vuitton, Hermes, Y3 and Laneige. Celebrities and artists whom I styled includes- Lisa S, Louise Lee, Jason Godfrey, Andrea De Cruz, Jade Seah, Kimberly Wang, Alaric Tay, Richard Herrera and Steve Lai.
My Signature haircut has built me a group of loyal friends, which is growing everyday thanks to their kind words through word-of-mouth recommendations.
